Moving Picture Books (English)
A read-aloud storybook app for iPhone and iPad with 30 classic Japanese folktales and world fairy tales, for children ages 2 to 6 and their parents. Gentle narration, pictures that move when you touch them, and simple touch tricks on every page. The stories follow the original tales, and the pictures are gentle even in the scary parts.
How to read
Pick a book on the bookshelf. "Read to me" turns the pages with the voice. With "I'll turn the pages," tap the text or the curled corner at the bottom right. Touch the glowing things in the picture to move the story along. To switch the language, open Settings > Language.
20 Stories pack and restoring purchases
Besides the 10 free stories, a one-time purchase unlocks 20 more stories and removes all ads. It is not a subscription. Purchases need Face ID or your password on Apple's purchase screen. To restore after changing devices, tap "Unlock all" on the bookshelf > "Restore purchase," using the same Apple Account.
Ads and external links
While using the free version, ads appear on the bookshelf and after finishing a book (never while reading). Ads are child-directed: all-ages ads only, no tracking, not personalized. The only external links are the contact form and story requests (the App Store review page), both behind the parent check. There is no social sharing.
Your data
Books read and settings are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them too.
